Limousine rental is a licensed business and is supervised by the Transport Safety Agency Trafi and the Police. A company that rents limousines must have Taxi Permits and the entrepreneur must have completed the courses prescribed by law in order to be able to rent limousines. According to current legislation, Limousine services are equated with Taxi business.

Limousines must also be registered for licensed use and all drivers must have the licenses required for the profession of Taxi driver. These permits must be visible to the customer in the car.

According to the law, it has to be possible to pay for a taxi trip with cash, bank card and the most common credit cards, if nothing else has been agreed in advance. The customer must always be offered a receipt for the payment.
